CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD
For Children Aged 3-6
WHAT IS CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD (CGS)?
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a highly acclaimed approach to the religious formation of children, rooted in the Bible, the liturgy of the Church, and the educational principles of Maria Montessori. Children gather in an “Atrium,” a room specially prepared for them, which contains handmade materials that they use to ponder the story of Christ and the life of the Church. Level 1 CGS has 3 levels of presentations (for the 3, 4 and 5 year old child).
Classes for parishioners will begin September 27
from 12:15-1:30pm each Sunday.
(School families will have class on a different day.
Please register with the School.)
Tuition: $40 per child or $60 per family*

PLEASE NOTE: All parents must attend a short parent meeting on the first day - September 27 at 12:15 pm in the Activity Center.
ALSO: All new parents of religious education students are required to meet with Fr. Jonathan before classes begin. Contact him at 810-231-9199 ex. 202 to make an appointment.

c) select ‘Give a New Gift’
d) select the ‘Religious Education Fee, One Time Gift’
e) pay the appropriate amount based on the Rates listed above (Family Fee Paid Once)
