God is generous! Everything there is, comes from God's acts of generosity. Once we realize that everything we have and treasure in our life was given to us by God, we experience immense gratitude. Generosity comes from this gratitude.
Generosity is also at the heart of the gospels.
All the great figures in the Gospels are generous. The widow's mite, Mary's response to God when the angel appeared to her, the Magi traveling with gifts to see the infant Jesus, the Centurion begging Jesus to cure his servant, the first twelve apostles' leaving everything behind to follow Jesus was incredibly generous. Jesus's first miracle was a miracle of generosity. His whole life was an act of generosity and his death on the cross was the ultimate act of generosity.
Generosity at the heart of Christians - Stewardship
Generosity at church is being realized in terms of stewardship. Stewardship is the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care. As Christians we are taught that everything we have, including our time, our talent and our treasure, is loaned to us by God, and that one day, we all will have to give an account for how we managed them.
We invite you to live the life of a Christian and give God dominion over every aspect of your life.
If you already give, please consider becoming a planned giver. A planned giver is one who establishes giving goals and gives a planned percentage of their income to their church and favorite charities.
To help you achieve this goal, we offer you the opportunity to give online. You may set up recurring gifts to a specific frequency and date that works for your budget. You may select or specify the fund which you would like to support.
Online Giving is consistent, convenient and secure. If you need help with setting up your account, call
