Holy Spirit Prepper’s Seminars

Official Prayer: “Speak Lord for your servants are listening. What would You have us do?”

What follows is the general outline for what we did at our first meeting which was August 13, 2022. There were about 25 people in attendance. Some were the experts while others were there to learn. We all introduced ourselves and our special interests. Some spoke longer than others about their knowledge and their experiences. While the future of our meetings is not confirmed yet, we will most likely be hosting a particular speaker allowing them to talk about their area of knowledge and interest. Those talks will be posted here in print, then maybe even in recorded form.

NEXT MEETING: TBD

Hello preppers. In anticipation of our next meeting which is on the 24th, I think it would be good if we had a secretary to keep notes, and maybe even a president, to organize future meetings. I will probably have to leave a bit early from the next meeting because of another assignment. So it be good to have somebody in charge.
One thing I think we need to do is to is to put together a list of participants, along with phone numbers and email addresses. So we can send out special notices.

I will be talking to people about making special presentations at each of our meetings. I’m thinking of two at this time, one being solar panels, and the other one being raising chickens. We have a few experts in both of these areas.

I think one of our purposes has to be making as much info available for our parish so as to enable them to take care of their individual families, but also for us as a parish to take care of our parish family, and also our neighbors.

You are invited to hear Charlie Johnston speak in Mason, Michigan next Friday,  November 11, 2022 (Fri., Veterans Day, 6-9pm) at the VFW Hall, 1243 Hull Rd. on the southside of Mason, MI.

CHARLIE JOHNSTON will give a talk on Building Community in Difficult Times and a time for Q & A. His focus is on encouraging everyone to acknowledge God, take the next right step, and be a sign of hope to those around us. This will be a good time to celebrate (or commiserate) with other people who are very concerned about the downward spiral that our country has taken over the past 22 months. EVERYONE IS WELCOME.
